Our dad was a dermatologist for over 50 years. He was both a clinical physician with a large community practice and a Professor of Dermatology. He spent his career listening - to patients, to students, to the science and most importantly, to his own family. That's where the idea for this cream began.

As kids we went to summer camp every year and had to deal with the inevitable itchiness from bug bites, irritated skin and poison ivy. Our father was determined to create a gentle yet effective, soothing anti-itch solution. And he did! He would give each of us a jar of his homemade cream to take to camp. This gave us cooling itch relief through the summer.

To honour our dad's legacy, we decided to market his special cream that he handed down to us. Until now, this formula was only available to the public by prescription compounding at a pharmacy. We added natural ingredients and left out medicinal ingredients like steroids. We wanted to market an all-natural, botanical formula. Our father gave us his stamp of approval for our Dr. Rosey's cream before he passed away.
